Re: Case will have his choice of teams next year

I really like Case. He's a good guy with a great work ethic. If he's lucky he'll stay in Minnesota where they have all the pieces in place for any quarterback to succeed. If he goes to another team he'll probably become the next Osweiler.

Who here can challenge the logic of outcomes predicted by the hypnogogic state? I can't.

Go Rams!

Re: Rams Tweaking Defensive Line Rotation

I think you're right toast49. The Vikes let everyone know their game was to pound the rock and wear out the defense, and they were able to do it. Here come the saints with a really good running game. Wade better have some answers or they'll get rolled again.

Re: Goff Continuing to Mature

Goff handled the pressure of the big game. That first drive was masterful. Higbee and Kupp dropped passes that killed a couple drives, but Goff never gets rattled or let's a bad play affect him.

That would have been a good move. Hatfield was scorched.

Re: Relax!

Ok, I was harsh with the 'lay an egg'. What they did was get outplayed on both sides of the ball by a better team. Score was close for 3 quarters but the Vikes are a team that has trouble scoring. So that kept the game pretty close score wise. Vikings pretty much outplayed them all day. But as the ...

Re: Rams say loss to Vikings can be a long-term benefit

Yes, it's hard to scan the field when there's too much pressure. Goff is still young and these games are learning experiences. Maybe for McVay, too. He needs to get the running game going and get the tight ends involved in the passing game. Minny has a very good defense. Hopefully, they taught the y...

Re: Case Keenum shows former Rams teammates his best side

You're right on Harkin. The Vikings give Keenum more time than Goff, and Goff needs to learn to get rid of it quicker. I noticed that Goff was spending a lot of time talking to Keenum after the game yesterday. I'm sure they're both very supportive and Goff was happy to see CK having success. Goff is...

Re: Eagles not looking all that dominate

Paying close attention to the game since the Eagles are coming up soon. They are not looking all that DOMINANT to me. Wentz is not as accurate as Goff. I think the Rams and Saints will be the two teams in NFC Championship game this year. I don't get the media's "cream in your pants" love affair wit...

Yeah, I think UCLA is in negotiations with Chip Kelly. That's a smart hire. He dominated the PAC when he was with Oregon. Fisher is the strawman just thrown out there for a distraction.

Re: Question???

Donald shoved him at the end of the play. That was stupid and The Rams paid for it. Also any contact with the helmet will be called. It's been like that for quite a while. Donald has trouble with his emotions. It's not the first time his stupidity has cost us. No excuse. It was the right call. My p...

Re: Question???

It’s not the number of weapons, The Vikings thoroughly outplayed the Rams today. They played smart and disciplined, they harrassed Goff and they protected Keenum. Does anyone who watched this fiasco think the Rams play or coaching was in the same league? One team came out ready, took a punch, came ...

Yes, today’s loss sucks. But, let’s keep things in perspective. We are moving in the right direction and we are going be be good and get better for a very long time. Keep things in perspective? That's unheard of on the internet isn't it? As I see it, the Rams matched up with Minny really well...

Re: Keeping things in perspective

I'd be a whole lot more sanguine about such a possibility if the Rams weren't 0-4 in playoff games vs. the Vikings at Minnesota. With all due respect, I usually agree with you 100% Commish, but I don't think that any historical data from the '60s and 70s is relevant to today. In those days, the fie...

This is a murderer's row of games. 4 against division leaders, and 1 with the Seahags in Seattle. The only "easy" one is against Arizona, and they'll be out for blood after what happened in London.

The Saints have rallied and about the beat the 'Skins. I guess that's good for the Rams. The Saints won't be pissed off next week, but damn they look good. It's going to be another tough game.

Re: Rams - Vikings Game Thread

66. We know you're pissed off, but try to find some positives from this game. The Rams lost to a pretty damned good team. They played 'em even, but the Vikes were the better team today. They'll hopefully come back next week fired up to play better against another damned good team.

Re: Rams - Vikings Game Thread

It goes to show you what a good O-Line does for a QB. Keenum had none of that last year. Proves that talent and coaching make a difference. Both Keenum and Goff had a lot more talent than we saw with Fisher as the coach. It makes you wonder how many QBs never make it because they're forced to play ...

Re: Rams - Vikings Game Thread

I saw it as an evenly played game until the Vikes discovered that Hatfield was overly matched out there. That needs to get fixed. IMHO, if Kupp holds on to the ball at the 1 and the Rams go up by 7 it's a totally different game. I also believe the Rams will get to Keenum the next time they play. He ...

Re: Rams - Vikings Game Thread

Mystery roughing call kinda set that whole thing. Yep. That was huge. That's 100 % on Donald. No reason for the shove at the end . He may have gotten away with the helmet contact but he had to take out his frustration by giving the push at the end. It's not the first time. When things don't go his ...
