Re: Up-and-Comers on Rams Roster Now

All great depth but we need to upgrade and improving on Quinn, Watkins, and Austin won’t happen from people on the team already. JMO. It might happen with the wideouts.. Not many here gave Woods or Kupp a chance at producing big this year and both were excellent. And you really don’t have to do muc...

Re: Theory 101: Why Rams Lost to Falcons

Already said this in the Replay Of The Game thread but here it is again: Playoff jitters Turnovers Loss of Brockers Giving up on the run when we have Todd Gurley - IOW out-coached. Atlanta (especially defense) playing every play like it was a [cough] playoff game. As said above their tackling was st...

Re: Up-and-Comers on Rams Roster Now

Thomas looks promising but so do Reynolds and Cooper. Did Spruce ever sign w anyone cause I thought he showed potential too. Tavon seems gone for sure but if Watkins signs somewhere else and neither are Rams next season there is a boatload of opportunity there plus the payroll can be enhanced in the...

Re: Jeff Fisher ain't getting any respect...

I'd rather say that he overhauled the vehicle, then left it sitting in the garage cause he just didn't know how to drive it at top speed. He was behind the wheel and it was moving, just not fast and with no purpose as to direction. Then into the ditch. Rumors are it was in neutral when it finally c...

Something the users can do that would make it easier on the senses: When you’re quoting someone, you don’t have to leave the entire content of their comment in the quote. This oftentimes contains multi paragraphs and/or quotes from two or even three different posters all contained in the quote. Befo...

I suppose I'll turn the page when Fisher does and stops promoting himself by declaring that "I'm a huge fan of the Ram players," Fisher told The Midday 180. "They're basically blah blah blah blah blah blah burp burp blah blah blah blah blah burp burp.........”
Think of it this way, much easier.

Fisher took a wreck, overhauled it into a functioning vehicle and then drove it into a ditch.

Turn the page.

Re: Les Responsible for Tavon/Barron/Quiinn

This may be the first season without a ‘This will be Tavon’s Breakout year!!’ thread.

So many refused to see reality for a long time.

I had no problem with his work ethic or attitude. Just a bad move to get him and even worse to give him an extension.

Re: Philly game lessons Rams must do in off-season

Nothing wrong with the O line. I love a veteran nasty O line. The team does need some depth behind the starters because you have to be ready if they don't all hold up over the course of the season. I like Havenstein as well, for a right tackle he gets the job done. Rams are lucky to have him. Yeah ...

Re: Saints-Vikes ending: best argument ever for

Cue the sound effects from The Day The Earth Stood Still. This was a complete fail in the madness of a do-or-die moment, not the grassy knoll. Look at the 2nd down play that preceded it, a receiver 30 yards deep down the middle with no one within 50’ and it didn’t matter because they were going for ...

I don’t know. I’m starting to wonder more and more about planted players here and there in these game ending situations. In BB they shaved points and almost everyone at one time was on the take.
He whiffed, it’s not Boston College or the Black Sox.

Re: Philly game lessons Rams must do in off-season

Da"Ron Payne of Alabama is to little to be a Nose tackle 6'2" 308 lbs. But Vita Vea of Washington Huskies would be sweet 6" 5" 340 lbs. I love Vea and think he would be a great pickup. I just don’t see him being there and can we really afford to trade up with no 2nd round pick? If he’s there pounce...

Re: Saints-Vikes ending: best argument ever for

Diggs getting a lot of credit for a piss poor tackle, don’t get me wrong, nice catch and good job finishing it but the way he was flaunting around in the end zone you would think he made a one hand grab and broke 5 tackles. lucky win for no doubt a good team ! Flaunters gonna flaunt but I give him ...

Re: Saints-Vikes ending: best argument ever for

play looks worse every time i see it on replay he literally dove into air They are calling it the ‘Whiff Six’. Very apt. You HAVE to wrap up but for some reason it’s one of the most forgotten aspects of defense. The Jags got over on Pittsburgh somehow with numerous whiffs, especially along the side...

You can’t control the bounces, the elements, field condition or the refs........BUT - Coaching, fundamentals, desire and brains are what usually separate the winners from the losers.

It’s the reason we are one and done.

Re: SKOL!

Did anyone hear the announcer say when he spoke to zimmer he said he would put Bradford in if they went down double digits. They just may have figured out the way to use Bradford; keep him off the field in the regular season so he’s still walking come playoffs. Then if the starter sputters or goes ...

Unless I’m wrong the other three are going for their first SB win so it would be great to see new meat for their fans and organization’s sake.

Having to come back out for a meaningless PAT Like a pooch getting his face rubbed into a turd. Not meaningless in Vegas. 5.5 point line At least the Saints bettors are happy about something I’m glad you told me that - good reason to drag them out. EDIT - so wait a sec, the Vikes could have covered...

Then I saw the Steelers give up 45 to Bortles and the way the saints just lost.

Will take our lumps 100/100
I have a good friend in Maine who for some reason is a huge Saints honk.

Other than one expletive, no text response since the play.

What a way to go - absolutely soul crushing.
