Re: Nobody respects veterans like Trump does

Only facts if you watch CNN. Otherwise, totally unsubstantiated. Just your spin on the situation. No, man. It's a fact, regardless of who reported on it. Donnie Jr responded to information that the Russian agents had information on the Clinton campaign with an email that said 'Great! I love it!' He...

Re: ST cost us 16 points and almost the game, not the D…

No question lack of ball security by the ST's unit cost us points. Shocking because Fassel has been an outstanding ST's coach... with that said the D did give up some big plays especially via the air (previously it was on the ground\screens). Our LB play is not up to par IMO... Yes, special teams d...

Ratings down again!

I'm just pointing out that as we argue about politics in football, the ratings continue to fall. Keep making football games about politics and the NFL will no longer America's national past time. Football used to be the one thing where we could still unite and avoid all of that divisive political BS...

Re: uinn after this season and use some of that money for Watkins and Donald.

Cut ties with Austin and Quinn after this season and use that money for Watkins and Donald.. Austin looks like crap and Quinn can't hold the edge. Based on what we have seen so far, I have to agree. I have been cautiously supportive of Austin but it just seems like nobody can figure out how to use ...

Re: Everybody's kneeling!

It's hilarious. Especially because Trump wanted to be an NFL owner and they wouldn't let him in the club. He ran the USFL into the ground because of just this point. Now the NFL and NBA are the latest in a long line of people showing their outright disdain of this shit show of a president. Fascists...

Re: At least there is one thing we can all agree on

Trump is a fool. It's gonna be great when he is forced to resign because of colluding with Russia. So funny those imbecile NFL owners who contributed big money to his inauguration(including Kroenke) and he shits on them for allowing people to express their first amendment rights and for trying to m...

Trump says the wrong things at the wrong time. He just should have kept his mouth shut. A ll he did was add fuel to the fire. ....... But still I agree with him.. This isn't a Trump thing, remember this all started under Obama. It was a disgrace to see our millionaire NFL players disrespecting our f...

Re: Redskins look good.

Yep, agree. Skins are a good team, You wouldn't know it but Cousins is a good quarterback, Gruden a good coach. It makes me feel better about the Ram game. Rams were coming off a big win and had a natural let down. You could see that from the beginning but still the Rams hung in there and could have...

Re: NFL still confident in Los Angeles market despite attendance for Rams, Chargers games

Rams and Chargers attendance together couldn't top the USC/Texas game. Chargers can't sell out 27,000 seat soccer field. Kind of embarrassing for the NFL. 2020 sure seems like a long way off.

Re: How the Rams respond this week

That is going to tell me if we are making progress. We should dominate on Thursday. If not, then I will be really concerned. The skins lost last week and responded with a solid game. Let's see if we do the same. Agreed. Good teams, even decent teams bounce back from losses like that with a better, ...

Bradford, same knee again

Just when things are looking good for him, the old knee injury issue crops up again. I actually feel bad for the guy. ..Contract season. It is probably going to be just enough of an issue to make you wonder about him and let the Vikings go from super bowl contenders to nothing.

Re: Pretty ugly day for the NFL in general, no?

Yes it was a bad day for the NFL again. 9 of the 15 games played so far this week were not sell outs. Tv Viewership was also down. Same thing last week, 8 non sell outs,. The league is now blaming it on Henry and Irma. Last year it was the election. Better hope for another hurricane or something to...

one positive- Gurley

I thought Gurley looked better than I have seen him since his early rookie season. He ran hard, fought for extra yards, hurdling people, etc. Last week he showed something as a receiver and he was able to build on that. I am feeling better about him. Maybe the worst is behind him.

Re: Pretty ugly day for the NFL in general, no?

I don't read too much into this game. It's ebb and flow. The outcome of this game was very predictable. Washington was hungrier and needed the win more than the Rams did. Wash isn't a bad team and nobody wants to start 2-0... After a 46-9 win, the Rams were just naturally flat are not accustomed to ...

I was happy with what I saw last week. This ^. This Gurley negative conversation on all these forums is simply crap I'm sorry. As a few have said he had close to a 100 total yards last Sunday as well as a couple of runs called back. Cut me a break, he had 40 something yards rushing on 20 carries. U...

Re: The Gurley Reality Check

Throughout his college career according to an ESPN analyst, Gurley earned only very short gains on the lion's share of his carries. While he continues to labor behind an average at best run blocking O-line, perhaps it's time to realize what his limitations are. Even with his limitations, he can and...

Re: Sam Bradford NFC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

I'm personally not interested much in the way of "what if we still had Bradford" discussion. Right or wrong, I thought it was the correct move to move on from Sam and his ACL history (we didn't have the $$$ or roster/scheme to take that gamble). What I am mildly interested in, is the ongoing discus...

Yes, they beat a nobody but the difference is they smoked them 46-9. They just haven't been able to win an easy game like that in a long time.

I watched that whole game, definitely, something was missing. Cousins just didn't look like he looked last year. Eagles played hard but had an uneven, inconsistent kind of performance. Wash of last year would have beaten them.
