Re: I’m a little worried about TNF

I actually circled this contest as a trap game long before season started. Please explain what you call a "trap" game? This is nothing like what I call a trap game Guilty as charged and I have used the term incorrectly prior. Not going to expound further however on my hunch about this game but will...

Re: I’m a little worried about TNF

This will be a true test. Yeah, I know that the Vikings got beat up pretty bad today by what most considered to be a bad team. Maybe they overlooked them a little,. or maybe Buffalo just played lights out. I didn’t see the game. But today we had several big injuries with Peters, Talib, Easley, and ...

Re: Key Stats RAMs VS Chargers

Funny how every nfl show was saying pay Donald all off season, but since he got his money no one has uttered a peep about the guy. Donald has been very quiet. Trust me there will be a point in the season when the Rams need Donald. Defenses are behind the offenses right now league wide. 1st quarter ...

Re: Wildflecken's Immediate Post Victory Analysis Week 3

1.) Hard fought battle, Chargers came to play today despite depleted roster due to injuries. Ingram is a Pro Bowl lock, an absolute monster. For a short time it appeared he may take game over single handedly. It was a tough game, but the Rams were in control the whole way. I guess I am perplexed by...

Wildflecken's Immediate Post Victory Analysis Week 3

1.) Hard fought battle, Chargers came to play today despite depleted roster due to injuries. Ingram is a Pro Bowl lock, an absolute monster. For a short time it appeared he may take game over single handedly. If Rams and Goff did not have the offensive output they did today, Chargers would of left v...

Re: Rams - Chargers Game Thread

Time for concern Rams fans. Can Goff be any more accurate than he was in first half?

Lot of talent on that Chargers team even minus Bosa, Barksdale and Hunter

Re: Rams - Chargers Game Thread

Run D is non existent. Hope the eventual return of Barron helps to turn that in right direction.

Speaking of defense glad reports indicate Peters is an ankle versus ACL. Now hope it is a minor ankle

Re: Wildflecken's Keys To Victory For Week 3

I’m not sure why you’re down on Gordon.. he’s pretty damn good. [/quote C'mon Dick you know he is a "system" rb. Seriously however never meant to imply Gordon is not an NFL running back, he is no doubt. Unsure I would commit to him long term on second contract as Rams did with Gurley. IMO Gordon ju...

I thought pregame this had the makings of a close contest. Early second half turnover a great sign.

Re: Jimmy G... ACL?

Thanks Upland, Watched that hit live never would of suspected ACL. More in line with a concussion. Appears Jimmy the Magnificent may be short lived. Came back down to earth quickly early this season proving once again it is unwise to second guess a Belichick decision

Re: Rams - Chargers Game Thread

Anyone notice Goff's pocket awareness and ball security on the sack by Mebane? Hate to use a negative play to highlight his growth but many outside of this forum seem to credit positive plays to the "system"

Re: Rams - Chargers Game Thread

1.) Are Vikings guilty of looking ahead to Thursday night or did Sean McDermitt and the NOT SO HAPLESS Buffalo Bills expose something for the rest of the league to model when facing the Vikings. Certain Rams have advanced professional scouts already seeking the answer as this game is being played. 2...

Re: Jared Goff fine with 'system QB' tag if Rams win: 'Call me whatever you want'

1.) I usually like the Rams coverage provided on the Rams Wire, but this article brings into serious question how knowledgeable their staff is regarding the greatest game ever played. It appears they have little insight into how offensive systems are designed, and what separates the truly great offe...

Re: IS MAHOMES HUMAN...OR IS HE A QB MACHINE???

The Chiefs started the season 5 and 0 last season and then imploded. They failed to make the playoffs. We will find out shortly what kind of qb Mahomes truly is. The first quarter of today's NFL is yesteryear's preseason. If Mahomes is still lighting up the league when the calendar turns to October ...

Re: Wildflecken's Keys To Victory For Week 3

RAMs 38-7 but I'm hoping we pitch a shutout... 69 I certainly would not be upset with this outcome, but your prediction mildly surprises me. Not that you are predicting Rams to win but the margin. For this outcome to occur, Rams defense will have to be as dominant as they were against Cardinals. Lo...

Wildflecken's Keys To Victory For Week 3

The Rams appear to be catching the Chargers at a good time.Joey Bosa and Joe Barksdale are sidelined (more on those injuries below) and their week one performance in 2018 began whispers of them developing a reputation as slow starters under Anthony Lynn after starting the season with 4 straights los...

Re: Cleveland

Baker Mayfield is a natural. No practice reps, ran scout team this week and just flat out balled. I had Baker as the best qb this draft and it was the first time ever I rated a qb this high based on the intangibles. The only thing this kid loves more than balling is being on a big stage. But the num...

Quote From Sean McVay Is The Key to a Championship Run

The following quote from Sean McVay was posted on the Rams Official site on 09/17/2018: "They play for each other, it’s an unselfish group.” A simple, but eloquent statement that is the key for this group of star studded talent assembled by Les Snead and Company being able to make a championship run...

Re: Love is Blind: What do they see in Mannion?

1.) Reports indicate Rams have a great qb room, strong bond between Goff and Mannion. Never underestimate the importance of chemistry. 2.) Have we seen Mannion in game action with the first team offense? SF game in 2017 nope. This preseason's action, nope. I trust McVay's eyes on this one. Is there ...

Random Thoughts Rams Week Two Victory

1.) The Cardinals offense may be struggling as it is certainly a far cry from the offense ran under Ariens, Fitz is showing signs of age, and they may be starting the wrong qb, but they are an NFL offense with NFL level talent so one has to be impressed with our defensive showing. Wade's defense con...
