We’ve already faced Jacksonville and Seattle. We have Houston, Minnesota, New Orleans, and Philadelphia all coming up in the next 5 weeks. I think it would be unreasonable to think we win all of these games, but then again at the beginning of the season i would have thought it was unreasonable to think we’d even have a winning season.

What defense presents us with the biggest potential problems?

I don’t think Houston or Minnesota will be able to keep up with our offensive firepower with their QB issues. I see New Orleans and Philadelphia as our biggest challenges going into the second half of the season.

Hopefully we will be ready for them when that time comes. Going into those two games at 7-2 & 8-2 would do wonders for our confidence.

PHI’s D under Schwartz can be scary.

Minnesota. But if the line holds and Goff gets 2.6 sec protection then Goff dissects the coverage like always. As for Seattle. I'd bet 50 bucks they whoop Seattle in the northwest in the rematch. One of these teams as evolved and matured greatly since last time.

NFL Defensive rankings after week 9

Total Yards

Min 3rd
Sea 11th
NO 13th
Ten 15th
Phi 23rd

Points

Min 3rd
Sea 4th
NO 7th
Phi 15th
Ten 20th

Looks like Minnesota and Seattle, both on the road would be the toughest D's left on the Sched and NO at home.

There is no other defense but Houston.

Beat the Texans.

Houston
20th in yards against and 28th in points allowed. Very doable.

Yep - but they’re all that matters this week.

Looking past them is not an option, or at least, it’s not what a winning team would do.

You know we aren't actually the ones playing Sunday. We can't talk about the actual toughest defense on the schedule without jinxing it. We aren't the ones that need to take it week by week sheesh.

Minnesota and Philiadelphia are going to be tough. Eagles dline is really pretty awesome. At times they they get a tremendous pass rush with just the four.... They did lose their mlb, Jordan Hicks and this could be huge, The replacement played pretty well last week.but it was against Brock Osweiller..

I don't see enough of the Vikes to know just how good they are but they seem very good and the team is flying under the radar. . They are winning with Case Keenum and their top rb out.

Throw the stats out the window. Imo, no doubt that it is seattle, at home. Don't care what the stats say, their defense matches up and gets up for our game every year, as shown in the first meeting. I do have faith that coach Mcv has learned some things from the first matchup.

Good point, I forgot about Seattle.

MINN has a great defense no doubt, but the offenses they've faced (esp. the last 4 or 5 games) aren't super impressive, (certainly not like the Rams). I mean I still think the Rams have the best offense in the League, and SEA held us to 10 points. I doubt we see that again, including from MINN. Hopefully SEA defense is starting to crack as well with how it looked vs. HOU and WASH…and PHIL, naw...

Vikings

I see that as the most likely loss left on the schedule. Not the only, but the most likely.

Who said you couldn't talk? Who said anything about jinxes?.........You.

And btw it's not jinxes that make a team lose, it's losing sight of what's important. That's why there's a term called "caught looking ahead".

I was just saying that no one else matters this week and I hope the Rams are like-minded. That is my opinion.
