Well the Rams must be targeting a free agent corner or two. It wouldn't be good to be sitting there in the 1st round having to target a corner and end up over drafting one. Some highly rated players will fall to the Rams and you can't pass up a value scheme fit just to draft for need when your drafting in the lower part of the first round.

Not a lot of meat to that story....all he gives for reasons is the Rams have put more priority to Joyner and Watkins....that doesn't mean they won't be able to keep him.

Yea I heard he IS staying. Heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend. It's a lot of detective work, you wouldn't understand. Pay me now please?

Not sure I feel about Tru. I thought he was very good not shut down like Peterson or Rhodes. Not sure what the true going rate for a corner at his skill level is, but I don't think it is more than 8-10m and that is what I would only pay. To me if Talib is better I would offer one our 6th rounders to not need to compete on the open market goes.

Problem I have with the draft is there are 5-6 names in the first round I have seen the Rams taking how many of those are busts? To me we might strike out waiting for the draft.

My move is upgrade in FA first, if that doesn't work, then keep Tru at the right and if that doesn't work as a last resort draft.

Me personally I want us to take and olb or edge rusher or Vita Vea at 23. A stronger defense is more needed and that will help the DBs with a stronger rush and a shored up run D.

If true, that about puts a lock on CB in the first round for us.

Hope they tag or sign Watkins and Joyner.

He had the best press coverage out there and on contested balls and held against Prototype # 1's. Soft coverage was his weakness. Everyone ppl are throwing around in FA are old and not as good. Troy Hill is as good as Butler and Slay which I've seen projected to come here. I love Vita! Corner in the 3rd or move up to 2nd and grab one. It's deep.

Won’t lose sleep. Again. They’re tying up elite pay to a good not elite player. Rams have been caught in this cycle for years and years. Sure. This isn’t as bad as Laurinitis or Chris Long, but I’d take 2 NRCs and Kayvon Webster types and use the rest of the windfall elsewhere.

Love NRC but do believe they need someone with legit size. I really liked what we saw in Hill this season. Wouldn’t be opposed to an older guy + draft pick along with Hill.

I’m in minority, but I wouldn’t pay Joyner if the market dictates 9 + mult years.

Okay, okay, okay.... I'll stop being a dick.

Rumors starting about the niners going after Marcus Peters. I wonder if the Rams will entertain Peters, perhaps as a way to worry and sign Johnson. https://www.ninersnation.com/2018/2/20/ ... cornerback
