All those years we piled up on draft picks and we had just as good a rookie draft as then. Isn't that ironic?

Hopefully, the success of last year's draft is an indication of a much improved coaching staff that understands how to develop and utilize talent better than the previous one. If that's the case, every draft will be productive.

At least as important is McVay's ability to communicate what he wants in players to Snead.
I also think Snead is getting better at his job.
A home run draft like last year would really put this team on a long term path of success.
