Somebody continues to be a bit too excited over SuH. Can you imagine how he will be in here if we get him lol. Calm down is my comment. Fact is both Donald and Brockers are better players then he is right now in his career. I trust that McVay and Snead will not over pay for a player that on this team will be its 3rd best DL. If we get him fine if not oh well we will be just fine.

Whats not to be excited about...

He made is big time money,,,

This is about playing for a Ring...

He still commands a double team...

So that would free up Brockers, and the edge rushers..

Because AD is going to get double too...

Offensive opponent teams are going to have to come up with some type of game plan to stop the RAMs middle front line...

Then you have others on this board complaining that the RAMs are not doing anything in trying to get a big time FA...

They were just sitting tight,,,

Now it seems like they are doing something,,

Just imagine if we get SUH!!!!

We still get Compensatory Draft Picks for 2019

You are just a bit overboard in your enthusiasm with Suh.........

I'm more concern about Reynolds, Thomas and Copper and one of them actually becoming a legit 3rd WR in the NFL. God know Austin isn't. Defense will be fine with or without Suh.

But they can be one of the elites Defense in the league with him....

and give the offense more opportunities getting the ball back,,,

Plus with McVay's offensive schemes,,,, We will still score 30 points a game with Reynolds Thomas and Tavon Austin..

Then our Defense holding opponents to below 15 points a game...

What's not to be excited about....

You actually have no idea if such would be true with the offense. Simply put just giving an opinion which no disrespect means nothing. We don't know if these young receivers can play and scheme isn't going to matter if they can't. And if Woods and Kupp get hurt? Screens to Gurley 20 times a game isn't keeping this offense elite. Unrealistic to think McVay can just throw anyone out there and the offense will be just fine.

Question. Using your logic then why would such not work with our current defensive line? Don't you respect Wade's scheme? Hell Suh doesn't even play in a 3-4.

With Suh, for every good play he gives us, he gives it back in stupid penalties. He'll give our defense a bad reputation and then we will get all the calls against us. And sheez, we already have aaron donald, how much money are we supposed to spend on the deline? So what if we have the best deline? been there done that with fisher. How many wins does that give us? . Instead, we need linebackers, a top wr and always could use better backup qb and always oline help.

We never had an OC like McVay during the Fisher "deline" success either. Big difference.

Hard to argue with this. Some need to realize Suh isn't fixing obvious weaknesses you just mentioned on offense.

For the last few years in Miami, Suh is a 5.5 sack a year guy with about 30 tackles, and he simply doesn't play hard all the time.

Unless he comes cheap, he isn't worth it.

He is a DT that gets double teamed, 5.5 is very impressive. PFF grade has him playing at an elite level.

He stated,,,
Its not about the money now,,, its about being on a contending team.. and playing for a Ring...

He has it down to four contending teams... Saints, Titans, Seahags and the RAMs,,,

I count the Hags out, because they are rebuilding...

I count out the Titans because they have a new HC and OC...
and will be a new system..

So IMO it will be between the Saints and RAMs IMO

I put the RAMs a head,,, because adding Suh will make the Defense elite with that front three and the elite backends in the DBs,, IMO...

Don't understand why anyone wouldn't want Suh if the Rams do. McVay knows what he's got, what he lost and what he needs. If he's good with signing Suh, I am too. As for him being a 4-3 guy....so was AD. Not to mention almost everyone else on last years Defense. Adding Suh would make the Defense a lot less likely to miss the 3 LBs as well. Personally, I doubt he signs with the Rams but it would be another major off-season win if he does. JMO.

That's really reaching isn't it? What if Kup p and Woods both get hurt? If that is the case, they go the route of any team that loses two key elements of their offense. They don't perform as well. I kind of think it would be the same with any team wouldn't it?
