Anyone think we should give him a look? Obviously incredibly talented. Hopefully not burning again. What do you guys think?

Please no way. This guy is not a good fit at all. So much wasted talent.

Some team will grab him; why not kick the tires and see what's there?

I'd put him in a room with Whitworth and Suh and see if he wants to grow up.

It's just not a matter of growing up. I'd bet it's a mental health thing and a he has some sort of depression. Of course some team will pick him up. But after the all time and money the Browns have invested it would have to be an emergency for us to take a look at him. Trust me I'd love to see him lined up next to Cooks but I think there is to much risk involved.

He came to practice late on Saturday and was described as out of it. Sadly it looks like he might have relapsed. This guy needs to get some help just to be alive much longer. Playing football again should be well down the list. Nobody is going to claim him and that’s probably the best thing for him right now.

I would bc the rams aren't dependent on him. If he screws up, cut him. He could be signed and deactivated until he learns the playbook. He could start on special teams only. He isnt really a cancer, he just addicted to weed.

no way. i've been surprised the last few times he's come back. he should be out of the league like justin blackmon, another WR everybody wanted on the rams.

It is apparent this guy has some very serious personal issues to deal with. To be great in anything, you need to be able to focus 1000% of yourself to the task at hand. It takes greatness to win championships in this league. That’s what we are striving for... greatness. We have great chemistry on this team right now... no need to mess that up.

His issues aside (and I know this sounds overconfident) we just don't need him. Whose snaps is he taking? Cooks, Woods, Kupp? Just way too much unknown and chemistry risk to disrupt a developing juggernaut.

Right now, we have one of the better WR corp since GSOT no need to get a cancer,,, with his personal issue and drug issues.... He had too many chances to straighten up... only a loser team will pick him up....

Shame to see a guy piss away something that he is very good at....he could have a dominant #1 WR IMO.

Cleveland gave this guy chance after chance because he is/was that good....and now they cut bait? I let him sit and stew and prove it that he really wants it, but I certainly don't touch him this year.

Why? Do we really need him. Is it worth the risk. We have a dynamic team with some dynamic personalities but no one can say that Suh, Peters, Talib are screw ups off the field and they are all about football. Enough is enough , win with what we have!

Watch him end up on the Patriots.

He’s already shown multiple times what his priorities are.

No way.

First of all who in the hell is Gosh Gordon? Never heard of him.

Secondly there is a WR named Josh Gordon who was cut by the Browns. If he can’t make the Browns losing squad then there is no place in the league for him. He is a head case and only one more suspension away from being out of the league forever. A true cancer to any team he plays on. What a waste of talent.

Maybe a guy like him a Krapernick, and Justin Blackmon can go start their own league. A league of idiots who had all the physical talent in the world and shit for brains.

No thanks

I wondered how long it would take for this thread. Can you imagine the team chemistry if they did? How would this talk to over in a young, up and coming team?
Mcvay to Robert Woods: Robert,, you had a great season for us last year. You continue to work your ass off with Goff. We have to bench you though. Yep, we're bringing in a known team cancer, but he's a more glamorous personality for LA. Thanks for your hard work".

Dude has some issues for sure but I don't think it's fair to call Gordon a team cancer. I hope the guy gets the help he needs. Definitely not a good idea to kick his tires IMO.

Now they're saying Browns announced that they would waive him on Monday to give other teams a chance to offer something for him and Adam Schefter says several teams have shown interest

Agree. When I hear ‘cancer’ related to a player, it’s about them being a troublemaker or rebellious type.

I haven’t really followed this clown but I don’t think I’ve heard of him causing problems in the locker room, he’s hardly ever in the locker room cause he loves the hippie lettuce much more than the team. He even missed weeks of camp this year cause he needed more counseling.

The Browns bent over backwards for him multiple times and have finally given up, what more you need to know?

I wouldnt bench Woods. Kupp or Cook. He will be the 4th wr and play in certain formations and maybe special teams. If the rams got him, it will be for cheap. Hell just be another weapon for Mcvay to use from time to time.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. The guy has talent, but someone who repeatedly misses, or is late for team meetings and continues putting himself before the team. IMO, I call that a cancer.
