It looks like Speedy Noil could play in front of the NFL version of the 12th Man.
The former Texas A&M receiver signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent, the team announced Monday.
The receiver didn't hear his name called in the 2017 NFL Draft. Noil's production declined sharply after he led the Aggies in all-purpose yards as a freshman. He posted some of the best numbers among all prospects in the NFL Combine, which could explain why teams gained interest in the receiver.
Noil joins a long list of NFL Aggies in Seatttle - which, along with Tampa Bay, has a heavy Aggie presence. Michael Bennett, Germain Ifedi, Luke Joeckel and Steven Terrell will also play for the Seahawks. Justin Evans, Mike Evans, Jarvis Harrison and Derel Walker are Buccaneers.
Noil should find plenty of opportunitiesto make a name for himself. Young players like Paul Richardson and Tyler Lockett continually garner important playing time with Seattle. Noil must clean up a few things but his chances of making the final roster aren't that slim.
