Both are hard core players.

I guess one deciding factor would be who does a better job lifting his teammates to play at a higher level.

Okay, Well first of all they are equal players at their respective positions. But if I had to choose one without any bias, I am going Donald. Simply because even the mobile QB's like Wilson cannot easily escape a pass rush from up the middle. And that's what Donald does on a regular basis. Same thing with RB's in avoiding up the middle penetration..again a Donald regular thing.

Carr had a bit of an off year and it didn't matter what Khalil Mack did. So if he's more valuable than Donald last year, where does that put Donald?
So, the winner is Carr.
