I for one do not believe Mannion is safe on this roster. Many fans have slept on the fact that Brandon Allen is a good QB and could actually move up on the roster, and if that happens Luis Perez could be our 3rd QB. Maybe McVay will get something for Mannion.

I too expect Allen to push Mannion this season. I followed him at Arkansas, and he was solid (not spectacular) but can make all of the throws. He was on a terrible offense that reminded me of a Fisher-like approach. The end result is that the HC (Belema sp) is now unemployed. I want to see Allen in the Preseason and see how he does. I expect he will do well.

Mannion is nothing special IMO and I believe the Rams would have a hard time winning with him as the starter if Goff went down but the thought of Allen taking over doesn't make me feel any better. I know it will never happen but I wish Rams would sign Kaepernick. He's a lot better than Mannion or Allen. JMO.

Kap was declining prior to his getting cut and hasn't played football since 2016...is he even working out? I want nothing to do with the guy because I think he's more focused on his off the field stuff than he is with football.

I think there's a good chance Teddy Bridgewater doesn't make the Jets as the #3 and he could be picked up....class guy who was well on his way to a good career when that horrific injury derailed it.

His only start last year was weak & I have zero confidence in his abilities should Goff go down.

Fingers are crossed Goff stays on his feet all year.

Go Rams!

Mannion is just a guy. Shake a tree, find 10 just like him.

Agree.
The thing is - Mannion, although not impressive, at least knows the offense inside and out (at least he should).
I don't know much about Allen. I like the thought of Bridgewater on the Rams. 8-)

 Let's win some games.
