II got to thinking about the befuddling way McVay has been calling games. We used to do a lot more creative offensive plays - as I though about it I realized that we've lost quite a lot of talent and creativity on the offensive coaching staff.

A couple of things to keep an eye on this off-season:

Does McVay hire a creative offensive mind from the college ranks to be an OC assistant or QB coach ?
Does McVay give up play calling all together and focus on just HC duties ?

I bet you one of those things happens.

It seems pretty clear out offense will need some fine tuning - maybe 2 new starters on the O-Line and one new Offensive Coach at some level to bring some life the play calling.

Rams coaches leaving has nothing to do with an inept offensive line.

No it doesn’t. But the play calling looks pretty stale and predictable.
