I heav read that the Amazon football is shaped differently to allow you to throw farther then a traditional NFL regulated football.

With that said, if Stafford was truly concerned about his arm, I doubt he would have threw the footballs to begin with. I'm on board with what is being reported. It's a nagging issue that will cause some discomfort with throws but isn't something to be greatly concerned about. Stafford will still be able to finish the season, and make all the throws needed to win. He just might experience some discomfort while doing it.

Not sure how Cornell and I missed this one...not that Kupp would say anything different.

One of the comments on Instagram said it was an edited video clip, he really didn't throw that far. It almost looked like it was the entire 100 yards of the football field. No way he can throw that far.
I am not so sure...it is possible but it is a different football shape. Could be CGI but I hear both sides of the story. Funny either way.

Your mom throws it that far too BD.

She's truly an amazing woman.

I know. I wasn’t directing anything at you my good friend. It’s just a crazy tweet.

I have my own personal conspiracy theories on how this all went down. As I had discussed in here when we first got Stafford.

I still find it very interesting how McVay and Stafford ended up at the same hotel in Cabo just by chance. Or how Big Whitt was the one that told McVay ‘hey, Stafford is ‘coincidentally’ staying at the resort right now we are at’ according to what McVay told us all last year.

Bottomline, imo I sincerely believe we (Rams/McVay) knew exactly where Stafford was staying. The wives played the part setting it up as well. Sean wanted Matt, and Matt knew it. I think Matt was coming to the Rams long before anyone knew it, including Matt.

As Cleveland used to say, it was all in the script… 🤷🏻‍♂️😎🫣

Some say destiny, some say all planned… I say… prob both.
Ran across this gem again today. Still my favorite clip of Stafford trade. What a difference a year makes. Gives me goosebumps.

I don't disagree BUT this was an actual tweet. People were just guessing at the time based on who needed a QB and who had cap space. The point is I don't think anyone expected the Rams until the deal was done. I personally thought it was going be be Indy with a 2nd place chance to SF.

Ball thrown by Stafford with zip and a little body :)

I'm waiting to see if Stafford throws one to him and he just grabs it and let it carry him into the endzone. Similar to when Captain America threw the Hammer at Spiderman in endgame
I think you mean when Capt. America catch’s Thor’s hammer…

Re: Stafford is back

I was listening to a Fantasy Football show yesterday and the topic of Stafford's elbow came up. One of the guys said he wouldn't touch Stafford with a 10ft pole. He referred to Jourdan Rodrigue saying the Rams will continue to "monitor" Stafford's elbow.

Now this guy at least acted like he knew what he was talking about. He said if it was just tendonitis it would go away or maintain and nothing to "monitor". He said if it was xxxx, they could have taken care of that with surgery in March and he would already be recovered.. The fact that McVay mentioned it was a "baseball injury", he said he wouldn't be surprised if it was a partial tear of a xxxx which means they would have to monitor it and hope he doesn't tear it the rest of the way. The two guys were both saying there is a lot more to his elbow than what the team is telling us.

I am not even close to being a medical person, hence my "xxxx" comment when they named some medical body part. I would think that if it was something as simple as tendonitis it would still need to be monitored. Could any of you guys with more of a medical background or knowledge explain to me what you think Stafford's issue is with his elbow? I know nobody has information but why would it be compared to a "baseball player" injury?

I realIzed at the very end of this clip why you love this video. Now, I’m not taking anything away from your love for Stafford. We all know you became a Ram fan solely with Matt coming over to us… but, it was the last sentence from the interviewer in here that got you going…

I believe I heard…

“It’s been a good year for you… your bulldogs then Super Bowl”….

Matt’s reply, “it was solid”

Now this year it’s my turn BD… “Good year for you DM… your Trojans won and yet another SB victory”

🤣😎👊🏼
It was definitely solid...you forgot about the Braves. 8-)

The Jets and Bears?

This list has to be fake. No one prefers the Jets. Bears, maybe... but the Jets... Come on.

That is like, I want to jump from my current pile of crap (Lions) into another pile of crap (Jets).

This just does not compute.

SF probably would have Stafford if they would have offered Detroit their 2021 first round pick before the now famous Cabo trip. But instead………….

They thought Detroit was behind the 8 ball with Stafford and thought they could get him for a 3rd or at most a 2nd. Was talked about daily here leading up to the Rams saying I don’t think so and shocking the bleep out of the NFL……….

And then to compensate for their gross mishandling of trying to trade for Stafford they go and offer twice as much to Miami…………

No one will ever convince me it doesn’t routinely eat at Shanahan…………..
