Rams lose this game w goof.

But be careful. Guys will chime in now about how awesome Goof was today down 41-17.
Can't move on from the past ? Goff is gone brother. I didn't like Pat Haden either, but I moved on. Enjoy the present.

“He finished 20-of-26 for 321 yards and three touchdowns — good for a 156.1 QB rating, the best of any quarterback in Week 1, and the best in a single game in his 12-year career”.

Doesn’t get better than this.

156.1 QB rating is not too bad. 8-)

He became a leader after one game of the whole team. He has natural leadership skills; Goff really has none and never will. Just not in his DNA. Stafford is the quiet, commanding, complete package. It should be a fun year!

Imo they do lose this game with Goff. Im.not trying to rip Goff, but with the way the Rams D played, the rams offense needed to be close to perfect. Stafford led rams offense made Nagy scared and go for it on 4th down way to often
A Goff led Rams wouldn't have made Nagy as fearful that he had to score on every drive and go for it so much.
Ha! We seem to have similar thoughts.
Although I wouldn't go so far as to say the Rams WOULD HAVE lost with Goff as our QB, I did wonder whether we win this game or not with Goff.
Goff had his moments...but Stafford played almost mistake-free. That's what we needed in this game because the Bears had the ball for so long.

It was just a breath of fresh air to watch last night.

A QB with confidence and poise, deep strikes, decisive decisions and obvious fire. Really enjoyed Stafford's performance.

Stafford was outstanding. Big improvement over Goff. Offense has a different look to it this season for sure.

Stafford was good. Team wise- Good result and that's the most important thing. That being said, it was kind of a choppy and uneven performance. It kind of reminded me of watching the Eagles of a couple of years ago. Big plays but we couldn't eat up the clock when we got the lead. I am so uncomfortable with our runnng game. On defense, although we were bend but don't break, this was Andy Daulton and the Bears out there going up and down the field, putting together these long drives.

The rams did eat up the clock with the run game in the 4th. Hated seeing the bears eat up the clock. Hard to build a offensive rhythm on the sidelines.
