Creed, I wish we had Creed
Canada… you do realize the photo you posted had used the song ‘Living in America’ right? I thought you Canadians hated us. 😝

Jk, man.

Such a great song though…

Absolutely know the reference. All's good between neighbors.

Creed a true heavyweight, until this guy showed up of course.

O-line was my biggest concern, and after 2 games it's been a welcomed surprise. It's certainly been effective enough for Stafford to display his skill set. Run game is not overly impressive, but passing game like a legit offense.

Allen and company are allowing the all-important cushion up the middle in which to have Stafford step-up into when needed (it's needed). Been happy with Hav out on his island manning the right too.

It's early, and the Rams certainly have things to work on, but the offense and defense seemed pretty balanced overall against good competition. Stafford is what I feel best about. AD and Ramsey stellar too of course.

Allen has been good, as the Rams obviously thought he would, which is why he went back in at center, allowing them to replace Evans (the real question mark) with Corbett.

Last year it was a solid OL but inconsistent (they got manhandled in a few games). This year it promises to be just as solid if not more so, and probably more consistent.

The issues are in 2022. Both Corbett and Allen are FAs, as is Noteboom, and Whitworth says he is retiring. If Noteboom doesn't amount to a franchise LOT, those are hard to find--you rarely get a good one after round 2 (and not that often in round 2), there are rarely worthwhile FAs at the position, and trading for one is costly. So they have to handle replacing the LOT while also either paying or replacing their starting center plus Corbett. It's not all dark and solutionless, but it's also not a simple problem to solve.

So far the Allen story is a great one. Remember, he was also the first Ram to test positive for Covid last year. His body looks different, in pads anyway. He’s more like a fridge. I keep thinking “‘He’s boxy, but he’s good.”

The convo will soon change from "Rams should have drafted Creed or signed Reiter bc Allen sucks" to "Rams need to resign Allen, he is a free agent next year"

Right now there is really nothing to complain about offensively. The OL has definitely improved and Stafford makes them look better still.

Michel got the tough yards when they were needed. Good pass blocking as well. And against a great run defense. Henderson has caught the ball well out of the backfield. Really not sure how much more we can ask for right now.

I agree , but I just think we have more potential . It seems too many runs are being stuffed for no gains , just the eye test thing ... but only week 3 . I am sure the run game will improve even more .

Hope you're right. I won't discount them being able to do anything offensively right now.

I WILL say that if Tutu continues to be a complete non-factor (not likely...I hope) then Creed should have been the pick, even WITH Allen's improvement.

With Allen, Creed would have sat the bench in preparation to contribute next year when Allen walks.

How that any different then Tu Tu and D Jack?

Im very very happy to be proven WRONG here, although I wanted competition, I still think Humphrey will be better, but if we had a good center on the roster who is cheap, god bless America, nobody knew he was good though, even McVay, it took Evans sucking at right guard to force McVays hand and I caution you all, its very early, but so far, I for one am happy with his play

JMO but I think McVay had a sense Allen was going to be ok. He saw the work he did last year behind the scene I suspect. He just felt is my guess that with Evans size and some positive moments the previous two years that would be the best way to go at first this year.
