Yet another fascinating true crime Didger story developing...

U.S. Marshals Hunting For This Fugitive Spotted Behind Home Plate At A Dodgers Game After 18 Years On The Run

• U.S. Marshals believed they spotted a fugitive who went on the run in 1998 sitting behind home plate at a Los Angeles Dodgers game

• The law enforcement agency is seeking information to track down John Ruffo, who they believe attended the baseball game in 2016

• What did he do? Welp...

John Ruffo was slated to start a 17-year-prison sentence in 1998 after being convicted of scamming over $350 million from various financial institutions by taking out fraudulent loans. When he failed to show up on the date he was scheduled to surrender. Investigators found CCTV footage of him visiting an ATM in New York City and discovered his car in a parking lot at JFK Airport, but the trail effectively went cold once he fled. Now, fast forward to today... it seems like he is casually sitting behind home plate at Dodger games...

Well if he wasn't in DC on January 6th or at a recent school board meeting then he's in no danger from the FBI.
