Re: J.J. Watt announces retirement
wow! Thought this was some sort of a joke until I saw it was from Upland. Can't believe this is his 12th season! If you had asked me I would've guessed 7 tops. sigh......... time really does fly when you're old.

How much longer could you stay with that circus of a franchise?

Re: J.J. Watt announces retirement
watching Hard Knocks they have a good group of guys but I think it all comes down to Kyler. He isn't a leader and it is obvious. They need to somehow trade his ass and start over IMO.D-GenerationX wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 10:37 am How much longer could you stay with that circus of a franchise?

Trading Kyler's Contract may be harder than us trading Goff's.ocram23 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 10:56 amwatching Hard Knocks they have a good group of guys but I think it all comes down to Kyler. I agree especially now after the injuryBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 11:16 amTrading Kyler's Contract may be harder than us trading Goff's.

If I was a part of the Cardinals, I would retire or hang myself as well.

Murray is trash... Cards will suck for years and I love itocram23 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 11:21 amI agree especially now after the injuryBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 11:16 am

Twelve year of high end play, even with the injury history. The irregular heartbeat & a newborn, who had medical issues if I recall correctly, should be enough to convince someone to get out while they are still "relatively" healthy.

Was a time they were saying that about us.D-GenerationX wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 10:37 am How much longer could you stay with that circus of a franchise?
Carson Palmer and then Kurt got them back to relevancy. They have receivers, need an upgrade at RB, and probably should start looking for a new "franchise" QB. They aren't that far off and probably in a little better shape to improve than we are
Need a new coach, or a new QB, maybe both, and like other franchises, could probably use new ownership, but best they'll get is 2 of the three

Always going to be an issue with mobile QB's, especially smaller ones. All it takes is that one hit and your mobile guy may not be as mobile going forward.ocram23 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 11:21 amI agree especially now after the injuryBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 11:16 am

Re: J.J. Watt announces retirement
Smart move. Watt has an engaging personality so I think he will be scooped up by TV quickly unless he wants to coach. And I’m sure Wisconsin would have a job for him if he wanted one

Re: J.J. Watt announces retirement
Based on his contract incentives, if he gets 1/2 sack over the next two games… he scores another million bucks.
