Kid is 3 off the lead in interceptions and leads in yardage with 151.
Maybe should have gotten a few more snaps this season

Re: Cobie Durant
I am loving his development. Especially playing at a smaller school he may have needed a little fine tuning. It’s kind of funny to hear him talk and look at him. He looks and sounds like a HS kid. Or maybe I am just getting old

He was starting over DK. Got injured and then DK got the job. The only knock, I read on CD was his tackling, but he is a better in coverage then both DK and Long and it's not even close.
Hoping he finishes strong and become the rams starting corner opposite of Ramsey next year.

Re: Cobie Durant
That said, he's played in 10 or 11 games. so I maintain should have had more snaps. Kendricks wants any part of the secondary next season I would suggest he start working *now*, cause this kid looks the real deal and appears he might be best ballhawk for the Rams in a good whilebrasilrams wrote: ↑December 27th, 2022, 9:43 amHE got hurt , I think that is the reason he was not playing for a while

Poor tackling can be corrected. Coverage, with his speed and apparent ballhawking ability, not so much. So unless DK steps it up, he and Long jr can both hit the bricks.
If Rochell can play and has just been in a doghouse, put both of them in the lineup. Not going to play out this way, but would absolutely *love* it if Rochell was quick enough for slot, like his size against tight ends, and might do well as blitzer from there, in an aggressive D. That frees up Durant to use his speed and coverage skills against mostly wide receivers and being able to blanket downfield

Re: Cobie Durant
We are in dire need of a speedy ball hawk at the FS spot. Someone has to replace Rapp. Hopefully we find that in the draft or 1 of these clowns can do the job. If Durant can cover, then FS is not his place. We need CB to play man.
