Glad the Rams ownership didn't think the same about Dick Vermeil, after he burned out with the eagles. That 1999 SB was nice to see.

Exactly. And VermeIl hadn’t even won a SB, let alone gone to two in five years. You can’t make this shit up. Unappreciative, moronic board.

“There's a lot of people that it does affect, that I don't take lightly and want to be mindful of. And so we're going to take the next couple of days to really able to kind of reflect. Obviously a lot of conversations with various people that will dictate and determine the decision that's best for me, my family, the Rams and a lot of people, and that's kind of where we're at with that."

Aside from the lol thread title, McVay said he needed a ‘couple of days’ to figure out what his decision will be.

Considering what he’s brought to the Rams during his tenure, that’s not too much to ask but he owes it to the team (players, staff and ownership) to sh*t or get off the pot.

If he leaves, thanks and bye - and if stays, thanks and get to work…..but no dawdling.

I don't know. I still like to see McVay as the coach of our rams. He bought us out of the basement and we were a winning team the whole time he was here.

The guy just needs a few days away from football to make his decision. He is thinking more of others, such as his family, than he is of himself. Let’s give him a break.

If he returns, it needs to be minus Morris. He needs to bring on a tough as nails DC and a solid OC who actually calls the plays.

I’m sure we will know more in a few days,

Board has really gone into the toilet this year. Either a fire Morris thread or incoherent threads. I guess this is what 5-12 brings.

How come nobody is mentioning Greg Olson as a possible head coach candidate for us? He knows the system. He knows the players. I think he could be solid with the right staff in place. Get vrabel or Fangio as defensive coordinator and kliff Kingsbury as oc and I think we can go back to our winning ways.

why would Vrabel go from being a HC to a DC? I think he would be a great fit as a new HC. Plus he still is the HC of the Titans..just sayin

Well he obviously is a great coach, a 'savant' as you liked to call him?

Don't understand the mania on this, he'll make his decision in the next couple of days and we'll move forward in whichever direction is appropriate.

You want him gone anyway, so surely his 'sensitivity' is a good thing as without it, he'd be here until 2026 and beyond.

We should let it all play out now and let's not totally assassinate a great Rams coach for ultimately probably doing exactly what you want him to?

Not sure what one has to do with the other, just an awful comparison. But if it makes you feel any better, sure, perhaps we will hire Sean McVay in 15 years after his burnout ends.
