Re: Raheem Morris Staying
So some here say it's racist to hope we've seen the last of Morris as our DC?? Well, I actually marched with MLK when I was a (very) young man and still firmly believe that a fully integrated America is a stronger America.
But Raheem Morris' defenses stink and, ALONG WITH SNEAD AND DEMOFF, HE NEEDS TO BE GONE. TODAY.

Re: Raheem Morris Staying
As NY8 stated where in any of this thread did someone equate the desire to want Morris to leave to being a racist objective?grackler wrote: ↑February 14th, 2023, 7:14 am So some here say it's racist to hope we've seen the last of Morris as our DC?? Re: Raheem Morris Staying
The poster that started the Race banter in thread stated he was referring to different thread where Race was introduced as perhaps that could be a reason why Morris is getting trashed here. So, while the Race thing is beating a dead horse in this thread, it could still be relevant (unfortunately).NorCal RF wrote: ↑February 14th, 2023, 7:46 amAs NY8 stated where in any of this thread did someone equate the desire to want Morris to leave to being a racist objective?grackler wrote: ↑February 14th, 2023, 7:14 am So some here say it's racist to hope we've seen the last of Morris as our DC?? We are a pretty diverse group in this forum and I don't think any form of outright racism would be tolerated by our members or our Moderator.

But I question your last comment since it’s ok to call our HC derogatory female party part names and then do the same to our members even thought children and women supposedly look at this forum also. This is after being suspended for threatening someone’s family/child…….

Re: Raheem Morris Staying
Not one person said it was racist. I said that someone here in an old thread blamed racism on criticizing Raheem Morris.grackler wrote: ↑February 14th, 2023, 7:14 am So some here say it's racist to hope we've seen the last of Morris as our DC?? Re: Raheem Morris Staying
Well, I'll watch. But he's gonna have to end the soft bullshit. But he isn't smart enough to do it. He absolutely ruined Jalen Ramsey. He was ballin before Raheem came here. He excelled greatly in Staley's system. Man, what a shot to the gut to read this. Friendships don't make money. Wins do.

Re: Raheem Morris Staying
I'm disappointed that Morris is staying. Would've liked the 2 third round picks and a change of face at DC (whatever colour).
The biggest knocks on Morris when he was hired was his inability to develop players and his failure to generate a pass rush. In 2021 he had two generational pass rushers fall in his lap.
We'll now likely get to see in 2023 whether he can coach up some young defenders and generate a pass rush with hopefully a couple of new weapons on board.
He's going to be here next season, so let's see what he's got.

Re: Raheem Morris Staying
Yes he is and he is interesting. He is coming off some injuries but that might make him affordable. Poyer is a coverage safety and is very smart, rarely out of position.

Coach Rah is not a race issue. It’s a football issue.
