Why are we signing these guys to play for one year and letting them walk? First it was Von Miller, not it’s Bobby Wagner.
WTF is wrong with this organization these days. I mean I know we are short on money, but why even bring in someone you know you can’t keep?
This is frustrating. Our money management is out of control.

it's a re-occurring theme with this Org. They are short term guys only, it is quite obvious now. Some of us have been saying this for a while......Snead/Demoff have got to go

Re: What is the F-ing point?
They traded for Von and made every attempt to keep him but they were out bid by Buffalo. With Wagner I think it was just a one year deal in the Rams plans. The extra years were window dressing for cap purposes. Bobby Wagner was great for the Rams especially against the run but he’s not the same player anymore and not getting any younger. He struggled in pass coverage. Great player. Definitely Hall Of Fame.NN1Badboy wrote: ↑February 23rd, 2023, 3:06 pm Why are we signing these guys to play for one year and letting them walk? Re: What is the F-ing point?
Wagner and Miller's situations are nothing alike. We walked away from Wagner's EXISTING Contract. Miller was a FREE AGENT, didn't HAVE a Rams Contract, and the team tried HARD to sign him before bowing out.

Re: What is the F-ing point?
Von didn't want to come back unless the rams guaranteed the 1st 3 years of his deal. That would have been a mistake.
Wagner played for a 1 year 13.5 million dollar deal. With the rams being up against the cap, and Jones being ready to take over the ILB spot. I'm fine with saving the 5.25 and starting Jones.
The rams need is a edge.

Re: What is the F-ing point?
They let Miller walk because of the price tag. Are you forgetting the crazy contract Buffalo have him? Aside from that, this is today's NFL. All teams bring in a guy or two who is only in their plans for one year.NN1Badboy wrote: ↑February 23rd, 2023, 3:06 pm Why are we signing these guys to play for one year and letting them walk?
