JMO we are going to miss him on the field short term. So much what takes place in the secondary live we don’t always see from our living room. We have no one right now to replace him IMO. But I agree with most he was being used wrong here………

Open minded though to see what is next moving forward………

Will be disappointed if this fan base isn’t appreciative of what Ramsey gave us over all. Much more good than bad IMO with his tenure here. Appreciated how he never backed done from a tackle and playing physical…….

Ramsey was key in the Rams defense. Can't dwell on what he's done, or what will be missed. They need to move forward, and they need moves like this to move forward. If it's true, I hope they make a good deal, and not just give him away to a line buyer.

I appreciated a lot of things about him, and didn't appreciate a lot of things about him. It was a good trade for us and we won the Super Bowl with him. Him missing that game in Miami really stuck in my craw. Good for him. "Souph Beach" FULL TIME Baby. Won't miss being forced to root for him.

The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to trade star cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The trade will be processed Wednesday, when 2023 league year officially begins.

I have no idea how these contracts work.. you trade the player, you SHOULD also trade the contract. This dead cap shit makes no sense. None of us seem to understand how this crap works.

You gotta take what's offered. They're on the clock and had to move him by Weds. Apparently teams weren't willing to take on that contract. Two years ago we all knew that when we dealt with the devil at the crossroads the bill was soon coming. Well it's here, and it's time to pay. Gotta hope that Mcvay can make this tight end what he was in college. There's gotta be more to come because they're still not under the cap. Move onward!! At least the draft is going to be a little more fun.

I’m going to take a step back a bit from my last reply in this thread. If this trade frees up $ to now go out and strengthen the OL via FA then I going to wait n see. Maybe a higher draft pick was available from another team but they were not going to pick up his remaining. But if this team still is picking up some remaining $ after this trade then back to a bit pissed again……..

And it doesn’t take away from the fact that CB is still a bit important in today’s NFL…..

We were on the receiving end of Jalen's demands 4 years ago. We thought bringing him to L.A. would keep him content for the rest of his career. But a leopard doesn't change his spots and now we are on Jacksonville's end Circa 2019. The guy wants his money, not worth the tab.
