Michael Hoecht

Post by CierraRam »

So as I thought the Rams did tender Hoecht as they should have. This move should be better than most here realize. His production on the fly at a new position at OLB was kinda out of the blue and a attention getter.

Turftimes said he was as fast as any of the teams RBs... with that speed and his natural instincts and techniques as a DL, the guy could be a serious menace as a 2 down DL and a rush edge on passing downs. I'm excited for the guy. I'm excited to see what he does with a full training camp under his belt while learning the OLB position.

Based on what he did last season I can see him being a Chandler Jones type menace as a ceiling. And of course nothing less than a bona-fide backup at worst. We will see.

Among all the negativity surrounding the team. This is a real bright spot to watch, all

Very smart. Wasn't he a calculus tutor at Brown University!?

Like Hoecht, I agree that he's a solid re-sign. Ascending player.
