Jeez, some of these are hurting a bit. Had an injury plagued 2022 but was looking elite in 2021. Really sorry to see him go.

Oh well, this is what happens when you put all that money into four-five players. Now they're paying the price for it. Now they have to build through the draft. Which can take time, but may not take TOO much time. They just have to do it right and stop redshirting players for one-two years.

Re: So long ..
Oh, I figured. They need to be smart with their draft process this year. And not even the drafting process, but the way they handle contracts moving forward. Stop giving them all this money after two years. Make em earn that second contract.ocram23 wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 2:30 pmit's a 2-3 yr processFelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 2:29 pm Oh well, this is what happens when you put all that money into four-five players. hopefully they learn from their mistakes and fix both of the lines of scrimmage thru the draftFelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 2:52 pmOh, I figured. I'm probably minority here. I'm absolutely fine with that. Like everyone else, I knew this ride would go off the rails quickly. Just didn't think that 22 would bring all of the injuries it did. Building through the draft is fun. The draft has always been one of my favorite sporting events and the past handful of years has been pretty boring for the draft. We enjoyed the ride, now it is what it is. Strap in and enjoy the build. Hopefully the right way this time. Like Felix said more than once. Draft good players, and LET THEM PLAY!ocram23 wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 2:30 pmit's a 2-3 yr processFelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 2:29 pm Oh well, this is what happens when you put all that money into four-five players. Re: So long ..
It looks like we are going to take a step back this year, come back stronger in 24 and then even stronger in 25. I'm fine with it. Thankfully, we won the Super Bowl. There's high contending teams that can't say that, San Francisco, Buffalo, Cincinnati Green Bay while they had Rodgers. So I feel that allows us the opportunity to step back. I really prefer that the next build is a slower, gradual approach that doesn't take trading our 1st round picks every year. If, in a given year, we look like we have a chance to win it all, A "Von Miller type trade" is acceptable. Personally, I'm looking forward to the next few years to see what Stafford has left, and then to our next young drafted Franchise Quarterback, hand picked by Sean McVay.

What most of you guys are missing is we don't have the cap space to pay these guys and these young rookies from last year and the year before have to steep up. Rams will be fine

Re: So long ..
We need a guard and a tackle. Definitely some edge help and D-Line help. Won't worry about the secondary. Lets see what they can do. Won't worry about receivers or a running back but definitely get a versatile tight end if there's one available. Get rid of Taylor rapp. I might even draft a center. Draft at least O-Linemen. Can never have enough. If you don't have a good Offensive Line, then you can't do anything on offense. 2007 and 2022 has proved that. We have Daniel Hardy and earnest Jones at linebacker. Let's build around those guys. I mean, we're not in a terrible position like a lot of people think after reading the projected defense lineup. I mean they can do it. I've seen many teams go from shit to playoffs in one year so it's definitely a possibility. Oh! Not to.mention, anyone they bring in as undrafted players. Like I've said countess times, PLAY THEM! Let them get game time experience. It's the best way to learn and develop. Don't stash em only to get rid of them.

Oh! And this lineup looks a bit interesting. A couple of high motor dudes on the front seven.

Re: So long ..
you forgot that DL is decimated. We will need help with the defensive backfield. They will draft a CB and a S IMO. And of course we need help with the OL but I get the sneaky suspicion they think the guys they have are fine and they just need to get healthy. Time will tellFelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 5:41 pm We need a guard and a tackle. Definitely some edge help and D-Line help. Won't worry about the secondary. Lets see what they can do. This is my biggest concern.
Ok, now this team has decided (forced) to go the draft route… what are we going to do with it. Because our hit ratio isn’t great under the Snead regime and the draft.
I’m seriously hoping these guys build from the OL/DL out… and not shiny toys then DL/OL.
Build within the trenches and build smart.
I know, much easier said than done. But goodness… if we do a Tutu instead of a Creed again… I may actually squeeze my stress ball to death.

Re: So long ..
come on DM I have been saying this about Snead since Day 1. I almost broke the TV that day he took TuTu over Creed/Bolton. They, McSnead, scare me to death when it comes to the draft. I just hope they understand the group of OL guys they have now isn't talented and that they need to go out and retool this group.
