Caleb Williams
I know he’s facing a tomato can and their schedule has been soft but he’s mahomes 2.0. Those cannon throws he’s making off balance. You can’t teach that or scheme that or pretend it grows on trees.
Some nfl team getting a prize. That Carolina QB has elite skills too but it’s not close.

Re: Caleb Williams
They were pointing out last week that Shedeur Sanders needs to be able to step up in the pocket in order to produce effective passing.
Williams though...wow, he can make the same accurate and forceful throws while actually stepping back...and deep in the pocket/whatever it take to evade a pass rush still get an effective pass off.

Was McVay calling Colorado’s offense in the last few minutes? It looked oddly familiar to Monday’s mess, including the lame onside kick.

Re: Caleb Williams
This guy is absolutely nuts. I wouldn't want him on my team. I will have another team to pull against when he finally gets drafted. Nothing but trouble for some team in the future. It is all about him...not the team.

Re: Caleb Williams
I’m so tired of this circus. He really picked those 5 teams only. But then again, this is a game. All of it is smoke and mirrors. Purdy ain’t going anywhere so far, he’s 11-1 as the niners starter.
The cowboys? lol. He’ll be at war w Jerry immediately. The Raiders, my goodness.. that team will never w current broke owner. The Giants and Vikings could be interesting.
Love that he’s a Trojan and hate it at the same time. It’s just way too much.
Wait till we lose out on making the playoffs… things could turn then.
Im just pissed off still that Riley didn’t pick up a new D-Cord. I mean to have a the offense you have, yet let the D fall to 103rd overall ranking. It’s almost criminal w Riley has allowed to happen.

Re: Caleb Williams
That bastard didn't put the Rams up there? Maybe it's smoke and mirrors..but he's already like a freaking diva..plus then you add a full retail of diva..and man I'm not sure if I can tolerate so much whining
but winning fixes everything most of the time.
Get ready, little lady. Hell is coming to breakfast.

If I was Caleb, I'd be worried about the whole USC Quarterback Bust Thing. Especially the Matt Barkley story. Go to whoever picks you next Draft, fool. You ain't Elway, and I'm wagering you ain't Mahomes either.

I can’t really think of any NFL players I hate, but he will be on the top of my list to cheer against.
Sorry Delmar, it will be very difficult to cheer for USC going forward.

Re: Caleb Williams
As Mike says, respect the process and go wherever you are drafted.
It doesn't sit well with me having him do commercials like he's a top NFL QB. The guy hasn't played against a defender who'll likely make it to the NFL yet!?
He's undoubtedly very talented but those 20 yard windows to throw into will get a lot smaller.
Keep working, improve your game, be humble and respect the process.

Re: Caleb Williams
Does anyone think the boys club that is the NFL owners group is going to let Caleb upset their game by calling the shots? Not going to happen. The shield will be guarded at all costs.

Re: Caleb Williams
I hope more than anything that he chooses to go back to USC for another year.. playing Russian roulette with your future is never a smart choice. Either that or go to the Raiders and be irrelevant like every other player who goes to the Raiders.
With that said, I guess he has a pretty good chance that he falls into the Giants lap.

Re: Caleb Williams
All the naysayers you need to stop dissing him watch him he is insanely talented way better than any QB outside of Mahomes to out in the last 20 years.
Whoever gets him instantly improves their franchise for the long term.

Re: Caleb Williams
you comparing Barkley to Caleb is a freakin joke. And as far as accomplishments in college he has had a better career already in college than Elway. IF he can keep his head straight he will excel in the NFL.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2023, 4:58 pm If I was Caleb, I'd be worried about the whole USC Quarterback Bust Thing. NOW the rumors are that Riley could make jump to nfl and coach the team team Caleb goes to… which is most likely the Bears.
Apparently this is what the Bears want too.

Re: Caleb Williams
I don’t care how talented you are to be honest. It doesn’t mean it will translate to the NFL. There is a huge mental portion of playing QB int he NFL and Caleb seems to be a little off. Arrogant QBs don’t seem to make it very long either.
Yes, he is very talented and athletic. Can’t deny it. I still wouldn’t mind seeing him flop. He needs a little lesson in humility.

Didnt compare him to Barkley as a player. Compared the situations. No guarantee whatsoever that Caleb is an NFL star. Still a question mark, and the USC "thing" is legit until proven otherwise.ocram23 wrote: ↑October 7th, 2023, 10:39 amyou comparing Barkley to Caleb is a freakin joke. Re: Caleb Williams
nobody can predict what is going to happen but what he has accomplished so far is far beyond Elway or whoever you want to call out. there is nothing you can compare with Barkeley at all. Some of you guys out there are haters but you can not deny this guy his talent. The dude is by far the best QB we have seen in a very long time.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑October 7th, 2023, 1:37 pmDidnt compare him to Barkley as a player. Compared the situations. Re: Caleb Williams
The "Batkley thing" is him going back to Senior year and falling 3 rounds in the Draft because of it. We KNOW Barkley sucked but had he declared he would have been a 1st Round pick. Dont expect Caleb to fall that far but going back for Senior year could hurt him.ocram23 wrote: ↑October 7th, 2023, 10:13 pmnobody can predict what is going to happen but what he has accomplished so far is far beyond Elway or whoever you want to call out. there is nothing you can compare with Barkeley at all. What Caleb sees on the field this year at USC with 10 seconds to throw the ball at times is NOTHING like he will see in the pro's. We'll see how he fares.

I agree with you about the 10 seconds but the guy is cool as a cucumber when the pocket collapses. I think he may come back because he is making so much money in college.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2023, 3:50 amThe "Batkley thing" is him going back to Senior year and falling 3 rounds in the Draft because of it. Re: Caleb Williams
He definitely might. This is an option previous QB's haven't had. If he doesn't want to play for the club that holds the pick that club would have the option of trading him for a ransom.ocram23 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2023, 9:28 amI agree with you about the 10 seconds but the guy is cool as a cucumber when the pocket collapses. Let me make 1 thing perfectly clear in relation to my previous posts about Caleb. I way expect him more to "hit" than "miss" in the pro's. Excellent prospect but I still feel there's a chance he underachieves. Not as sure to me as Joe Burrow was.

Re: Caleb Williams
I guess his end game is he is going to try and dictate what team he gets drafted by which I don't have a problem with. Multiple guys have done it in the past and they weren't crucified for it. But I don't see him getting around getting drafted by a shitty team so not sure where he will be able to fix that.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2023, 10:08 amHe definitely might. Re: Caleb Williams
What is it about those teams that interest him? Why not the RAMS? Is it because he sees the lack of support they get in LA and half of the stadium rooting against you?
