You know, we can blame coaching and schemes and play calls, but at SOME point, players have to make plays. They have to get their body in front of someone and SHOVE the SOB out of the way. They need to make the effort to BREAK a tackle, give EVERY inch of stretch to reach a pass, They have to WRAP UP a ball carrier, SHED blocks IOW, they have to do their damn jobs. Stop being out of position, stop arm tackling, maybe you're not that fast, but you give it everything you have. Take the check - DO THE DAMN WORK

For me, in life and in sports EFFORT is everything. I am seeing a few players who simply don’t put that much effort into it. Kendrick refuses to tackle anyone. One weak link can break the entire chain.

And that's saying something, considering the worst rams cb I literally ever seen was Travis fisher. My god. And McVay just keeps playing him. We're all frustrated. They have to do something. And I wish McVay would stop saying the same old bs only for him to do the same exact thing. If I was coach, I'm amping up practice.

Agreed he reminds me of Evans last year not as bad overall for sure but 8n that same class. McVay and Morris stubbornly keep putting him out there - put Shelly out there see who wants it more. They hang onto these guys way too long. It's like a stale relationship but you refuse to breakup with them for some reason.

For the benefit of the team bench Kendricks force him to put the EFFORT in to be better than let him earn his way back on the field.

I thought the D looked pretty damned good, MS gives them a TD, kicker leaves 7 points on the field. We lost all momentum after the turn over.

The improvement of the defense has been great to see this year despite having a bunch of no names. I blame the Offense for our losses. If Stafford would stop overthrowing the damn ball, and stop relying on the same two people, we would not be 3-4.

Yup...not the D. It;s the offense. Not to say Morris is great and we are stout. No. BUT- they have kept us in games. Blow a lead sure,,,but offense has to keep scoring or at LEAST staying on the field to keep the D fresh.

Pretty much nobody is faultless, all three phases suck from time to time. If anyone one of the three played a consistent game yesterday, they would have won.
