Why? Because McVay isn't the zen master people person many assume he is look at his treatment of so many Rams he jettisoned after building them up with empty rhetoric.

Yeah and John Wolfless was such an asset... Let him stay sniffing Mayfields bag if he wants.. He wasn't going to help the Rams one bit.. Ditto for TB... who will find out the hard way.. I for 1 am glad his useless ass ain't coming back here and taking up a roster spot.

I'm glad Wolfie said no. I'm serious. I didn't want to see Wolfie. Mcvay is trying to go the quick easy fix route. He did last year too that's why the rams had Wolfie and Perkins. Due to injuries Mcvay was forced to get Baker and get him up to speed. Baker was the right move despite the fact he wasn't the easiest choice bc he didn't know the play book.

More likely Stafford won't miss more then a game, if that (could still play in green bay), but it's time for Mcvay to find a guy that he hasn't work with before but has the talent to run the offense, like Baker was last year.

Getting DH was easy bc he been effective in the past in the rams offense, but Wolfie? Please no, and thank goodness Wolfie decided to stay with Tampa

I am concerned that mcvay actually thought bringing Wolfie would actually help. Lol.

Mcvay is always trying to take the quick easy, already know the playbook route, when it comes to the offense. It was fine with DH but Wolfie would have been a huge mistake.

They were just looking for the cheapest option. Wolford knows the offense. Some say he’s got a future as a coach or offensive coordinator. He certainly isn’t an NFL player. Remember when McVay started him in the playoffs against Seattle over an injured Jared Goff. Wolford lasted about one series and he got knocked silly by Jamal Adams. The idea that this guy is still in the NFL is indicative of just how few decent QB’s there are available. Wolford should be teaching school somewhere.
