I actually wonder if you really watch games? Wolford is terrible, barely practice squad material. Has he ever completed a game that he started? I think I remember one game… I would pick up Dresser Winn over Wolford, at least he has the size and arm to actually play at the NFL level.

I could see why Wolford said no. He has been signed to the Bucs 53 and the income taxes in Florida are much lower than California.

California has the highest state-level sales tax in the country at 8% (10.25% in LA county) while Florida sits at just 6%. California also has a state income tax of 13.3% while Florida has no state income tax.

Well I hope he’s renting and not buying. Homeowners insurance in Florida has tripled in the past few years and most of the major carriers have pulled out because of massive losses. The only insurance companies that will write a policy are going to pass on a high deductible and most are one hurricane away from insolvency. I’m originally from California and know about the taxes but living in Washington state with zero income taxes is nice to a point but you notice the difference in poorly maintained roads, fewer police officers and property taxes that go up every year when the value of your home goes up. Believe me it’s about a break even overall with California tax wise.

It is so bad, CA started the Cal Fair Plan which has to cover your property, but the premiums are 4-5 times higher and the coverage is usually only for property only, so if you need lability, you need to get another policy on that.

To add to that, CA just passed a bill to require most fast food chains to pay $20 an hour starting minimum wage. So, who does that affect? Well, McDonalds now is selling a big mac for $18 and Chipotle just announced they will raise prices by 18% on average.

It will never stop until we hit an absolute wall. I live in So Cal, and I see it every day. Shoot, gas was $6.67 a gallon yesterday when I filled up.

CA is now turning into a socialist state. Big Gov is now driving the free market and making it NOT so free anymore.

1st or 2nd highest taxed state in the Union to boot (depends who you ask, but I think we are #1 compared to NY overall).

Beautiful place to live.... IF and only IF you can afford it.

I am trying to get out of CA myself but the wife is a major road block. Thinking about Utah, Idaho. Already lived in Phoenix and there is no way I am going back there.
