Rams @ Packers Game Thread

October was rough for both of these NFC teams, but November presents new opportunities. The Los Angeles Rams (3-5; 4-3-1 ATS) and Green Bay Packers (2-5; 3-4-0 ATS) will clash in Lambeau Field on Sunday. It's a 1:00 p.m. EDT battle that will likely end one team's playoff shots for 2023. The Packers have won the last three meetings, so they should feel good about their chances. Let's see if the Rams can end that run and keep any wild-card hopes alive.

Last weekend's loss was a lot worse than the 43-20 that the scoreboard showed. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford went down with a thumb injury on his throwing hand. He hasn't practiced all week and is questionable for this game, potentially leaving Brett Rypien as the only healthy QB on the roster. Rookie WR Puka Nacua, who has 795 receiving yards, is also questionable with a knee injury. The Rams are averaging 21.9 points per game because of the eighth-most passing yards league-wide, so those two being banged up is not good. Los Angeles is capable on the ground, ranking 16th in rushing yards and 15th in yards per carry, but the passing game is how Sean McVay's offense strikes consistently. Who suits up and how healthy they are is what to watch for most with the Rams offense this week.

Temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 50 on Sunday, with mid-40s expected at the noon kickoff.
