Crying in Football

Post by Safety Blitz »

Caleb Williams was sobbing in his Mom's arms at the Coliseum after the he Trojans lost another gone game that destroyed their disappointing season.

Will he get mocked?

Players experience sadness quite regularly but to see a full teared sob was new.

I feel like crying every time we try to run the ball

Caleb will be fine....crying all the way to the bank in Arizona

I feel like crying every time Stafford throws a pass to an empty field.

Caleb Williams is just auditioning for his career as an actor. He’s already got his Wendy’s commercial’s and has played the role of a successful QB when he played the preseason dog teams. He knows that he really doesn’t have a future as an NFL QB so now he’s breaking out his best crocodile tears for the TV cameras after the game. He’s one of the most hyped and overrated players that ever played college football.

Caleb Williams made fun of Max Duggan last year for crying after a loss in the Big 12 title game

I cried when the rams won the Superbowl. So yeah. Caleb will be fine. He has to look himself in the mirror and do some soul searching. Refocus on his self. He'll be successful with the right team and organization behind him. And please, give the man a good d.

Honestly, Caleb is still a kid. SC had HUGE expectations this year. The sad part is the one guy he is to trust the most let him down. And that man is Lincoln Riley.

Lincoln knew full well that last season we finished the season ranked 87th in total Defense in the Country.

That is right, SC the school that has 11 national championships and 8 Heisman winners and has always been the deepest in the west as far as getting 5 star blue chips players...

Riley brought his buddy Grinch with him because it was his buddy. It is beyond nepotism to me when after what we witnessed last season, to allow Grinch to come back. The WORST part, is that we had recruited and received even more blue chip D players this season, yet... we are doing WORSE than we did last season. I mean, HOW in the hell is this even possible?

I honestly would love to see the stat when a team averages more than 40 points a game and consistency loses.

Lincoln has allowed this season to happen and I put this all squarely on him, as most all fans, alum and booster think this way as well. He maybe the college QB whisper, but when it comes to Defense... Riley has NO clue what is going on.

SC has to take control of this and not allow Riley to pick his own DC next season, as it needs to be done by committee (and that committee has to have some Defense knowledge people on it).

To blow a real shot at the National Champion this season all because you wouldn't fire your friend because he isn't doing his job,..... is almost criminal to me.

this kid played his balls out and made 1 mistake the hurt them dearly. Is his body language sometimes bad?? yes but there isn't anyone that watches the game of football and says this kid isn't special. Every week he makes plays that are absolutely unreal. You are dead on when you say Lincoln Riley has failed him. I know there are some reports out there that say he will come back if he doesn't go to the right team. I think they are completely false. He has to get the F away from Riley.
Riley is a fraud as far as I am concerned.
