When the assistant coaches and players keep changing but the results remain consistent, it is probably a good bet that the one constant — in this case Franklin — is the source of most of the problems.

That’s a great point. As a Penn State fan, I have seen year in and year out the Nittany Lions beat up on scrubs. They end up 8-0 and then they play Michigan and Ohio State only to get humiliated. Franklin is too quick to abandon the run game even if it is working. Kind of reminds me of McVay.
