Absolutely does! Miss after miss and bad decisions. Hope he finds it within himself to retire. Guys like him tend to hang on too long to the detriment of the entire team.

He is just horrible. After that miss to hendo that he could literally run to the end zone, he took forever to hit puka and fucked up the next play too . He is just horrible at this point . The sooner Mcvay realizes we need a new QB , the sooner we can get back on track . Although I also think mcvay should go and we also need a new HC . So ....new QB alone won't help much . We also need a new HC .

Wtf was that play? Delayed flea flicker when your QB gets pinged and throws a pick?

which is why I think THAT is the #1 priority in the draft. We can't afford to pass on a potential replacement for Staff. Yes, we could go with Wentz for a year, maybe two .. but is that a position we want to punt down the road?

he still isn't healthy let's be honest. But I think everyone in the organization knows they have to address this position in the offseason

Stafford got it done and I agree he does not look like 21 but he made some big throws in the second half! He also did some scrambling when he needed to! Our OL played well on the second half and that’s why he was able to make those throws. It begins and ends in the trenches and we need more consistent play on both sides

I’d dump staff, trade kupp, draft qb, LT and a top tier guard with the first 3 picks
Nothing better than a Rams win, but a Niner loss comes pretty close.

Agreed, it was tough to watch. Let’s not forget that he missed a wide open Kupp for a TD. However, he stepped up huge in Q4. I have a total respect for that guy and looks great when healthy and has protection.

I would replace “ washed up” with “beat up”. He just has too much wear n tear on that body to play a 17 game schedule anymore. He was damn good in September until the hits to him started. And it’s impossible for any QB to avoid those hits. Difference between a 2O something QB and a QB in his mid 30’s in regards to recovery from those hits.

It’s why this team needs a real back-up QB next year because like it or not Stafford will be this team’s QB in 24.

You are not dumping a QB owed what he is owed next year. Why is it so hard for some to understand dead cap hit in the NFL.

Gone for who? For a draft pick who you guys will complain about 10 times more. People think finding a franchise qb falls out of trees. In the end Stafford can still get it done. I watch enough football to know I would much rather have stafford then 20 other qbs in the league right now. hes gonna miss guys, he gonna throw ints… but guess what he also will lead you back in the 4th when u need it. Go find that elsewhere

Stafford is 35 , injury prone and has been playing like shit past 2 years . He is not a top 10 qb like you suggested , FAR FROM IT , his 58 % completion rate ranks BOTTOM of the league .He has around 9 tds and 8 picks . WTF is that .

Finding a franchise QB in the draft is not EASY of course, and rookie qbs usually suck for AT LEAST 2 seasons . BUT IT needs to be done now at 2024 draft . Not just because of the fact that this draft is loaded with potential qbs but because Staff IS playing like shit for a WHILE now ( since the SB ) . It is time to change . I would love to draft a guy and the rams try him while stafford rides the bench in 2024 since we can't cut him yet . Probably not gonna happen but that would be my wish .

I saw oc reply to you which I knew that is what he meant in regards to gone. A few of us realize he isn’t going anywhere with his current contract, which includes oc, and with me that is ok as long as they get a legit backup. Fact is Stafford isn’t getting through an entire 17 game schedule anymore.

We just don’t want his contract restructured period like some in here have mentioned in the past that they would like this off season. Those are just looking short term and more cap space for 2024. I on the other hand want the damn kicking the can down the road in regards to high end contracts stopped by this team.

Thing is at Stafford’s age he’s never gonna be healthy again. But he’s owed $50 mil next year so he’s gonna stick around. Could be a very toxic situation trying to work in a new QB while the old one is collecting that big of salary.

I personally think the Rams will give it one more go with this Stafford/Kupp/AD/Havenstein group in 2024. After that they could all be gone in 2025. Including McVay if he doesn’t leave at the the end of this year

The 2025 Rams will look completely different with new QB, new coach, new defense. New everything

drafting a QB next year doesn't mean he has to play next year. I still don't even think if they traded for Fields that he could not sit to learn the system. Personally I think they draft a QB next year and let him sit and watch Stafford. I hope they don't have Hav playing again next year. Tired of watching him get beat time and time again.

Can't dump staff because of the cap hit . BUT for sure he can be benched . I would draft QB , play him , draft LT and CENTER . I would keep kupp and give him one more season to see if he can bounce back and can put up good numbers and don't be injured like he has been forever now.....

Hav is having a very good year , he actually bounced back from his last season which was bad . We need a center and LT badly . Both AJ and shelton are BARELY serviceable / average . BARELY .

Miscommunication with which shoulder but Kupp should still make this play. It was a floater, with no defender around. Kupp should have been able to adjust in time.

He was wide open . GOTTA catch that ball . I am afraid we are experiencing Kupp's decline . All these drops this season , all the time hurt , and it seems he is a tad slower overall to me . NOT very good indicators . I am glad we found PUKA .

Add WR to list of holes to fill.....

I think Kupp is still Kupp and will be good a few more years. I don't think he's healthy, and clearly that Hammy is an issue.
