Horrible. I can understand being annoyed. I'm not religious and someone screaming ANYTHING from a megaphone in my direction on the street annoys the crap out of me. There is a place for preaching, and in my mind, street corners are not it. As an adult, with reasonable intellect, I am quite capable of finding the nearest house of worship that would interest me if at some point I so desired to partake and I consider anyone trying to force that upon me, including the several different sects that come to my door on a regular basis as well as the young ladies who walk up and start a conversation based on whatever I might be doing then start trying to teach me the word of God. All that said, If I found the asshat that pulled this, I would just as soon shoot him where he stands and get his genes out of the mix forever.

Annoyance is NOT a capital offense. Just walk the fuck away. There is also, of course, the possibility it was motivated by something else. I was just thinking about how far evolution has brought humanity's current crop of children, in the eyes of the Progressive Left.

In the Year of my Consciousness 1958, when I was 5, I spent my days thinking of the best ways to end possibly end my existence. Climbing ridiculously tall trees and wending branch to branch as well as hanging from tall limbs like the rabid idiot I was to become. Venturing out across the frozen Susquehanna River without an iota of thought to the ice density, wandering into the woods abutting our property like it was a midtown sidewalk, not to mention running with scissors, sharp pencils and sassing my mother (infinitely the most dangerous of all endeavors) and saving snowballs in the freezer to be used the following summer, when nobody else had any to fight back.

Now, just 70 short years later, while, as in my time, one can't vote til 18 (though the Dems are trying), can't drink til 21 (or 18), but the extreme youth of today are, according to those on the left, capable of determining their own gender, voicing their concerns and wishes to change said gender, and in just a few additional short years capable of making the life altering decision, ON THEIR OWN, to actively start transitioning a cut one's body to facilitate said change.

They are also capable, at young age, despite not yet fully developed brains, emotional intelligence, and hormonal levels, of deciding to engage in sexual acts, CONSENSUALLY with adults, to the point where at least one Western country thinks that books about children their age being prostitutes are appropriate reading material.

Beginning to think the Progressives have the idea that the US is a modern Gallapgos where evolution works much faster than the world surrounding it

Judicial system .. in this country NEEDS overhauling. Many justices and judges do not belong on the bench. The biggest issue is, how could one possibly manage it? There is virtually no bispartisan system in this country since it is essentially a uniparty despite differing names and alleged agendas.

County by county, state by state, as well as federal, the rolls would need to be purged then replaced, but the people doing the selection process are still the same flawed populace who ran the original process of selection. Still the same voting rolls.

More I look at things, the more a national "divorce" makes sense, but simply stated, there is no way to manage that in any meaningful manner. There is now way to draw a line and move X people to one side and Y people to the other and declare a Dual States of America. Even if there were an equitable way to do so, one side would eventually invade with the assistance of foreign powers invited in.

It isn't just the US either. As bad as things are here, it's absolutely frightening some of the things being said and Ireland today, as well as the European Union. Anyone wish they could be 16 again?

Shows how we rank against the rest of the world as of 2021 in Stem courses. We need an education overhaul in this country that mandates courses that can be taught, even as electives, and remove some of this garbage from our classrooms.

We also need to start removing many of these liberal ideologues from their teach and administrative positions and start swinging things back toward center. We cannot have one sided ideology running schools any longer, on either side. We need to reinvent the schools as actual tools for EDUCATION and remove the forces of indoctrination. That means making it illegal for teachers to step outside their core discipline to start teaching their own agendas. Make it a tenure losing offense to do so.

I read an article stating that schools are encouraging "separate but equal" classes. IOW If black children are taking calculus, they are taking that class with ONLY black students allowed. Latino children, their own class with ONLY Latinos, and so on. Does anyone REALLY think the instruction is equal, or the results?

I see set asides as a way to ensure that minority students are NOT able to compete. By lowering standards for these students to pass through classes and enter higher education, they are set up to fail academically, which makes them even easier to radicalize. These communities do NOT need set asides, they need school choice, the ability to send their children, using their tax dollars, to schools that will properly educate them, not coddle them with "participation" advancement in grades. They need to be where teachers want to TEACH, and in smaller classes that allow for more personalized instruction for those who need extra help. All children also need to be evaluated as early as possible for learning disabilities. No more discovering dyslexic students when they are in junior and senior high school, same with other issues.

Parents need to be MORE included, not less, in the education of their children and there needs to be a better job of vetting educators. Also volunteers. I think, though, that volunteers need to be treated with a bit more dignity though. There was a case recently of a drag queen being removed from reading to students. If the person was in drag, i get it. If not, then it should matter only how that person acts in the role as volunteer. In a CA city a few years ago, a well known female porn star was reading to students. By all accounts, she dressed normally and was not reading anything inappropriate, or behaving in a any sort of immodest manner. She was let go. I don't see the need. She was volunteering to help students and doing nothing to call attention, in dress or behavior to who she was, other than a young woman trying to help those students. I'd rather she be allowed that than some of the ACTUAL teachers be allowed to teach.

We need to come to grips in this country with something, imo.
I do not believe in White Americans, Black Americans, Asian Americans, Latin Americans, Native Americans. I believe in U.S. Americans. Thats what we are. Within THAT construct, you have those people of black, latino, asian, white, native HERITAGE/CULTURE. One identifies as Black heritage, and they SHOULD have pride in their heritage/culture, but at the end of the day, we are ALL still United States Americans. That is also a differentiation we should be using. Due to Central America, South America, North America. We cannot just be Americans. That lumps too many people who don't live here into a grouping they don't necessarily want to be a part of.

This country becomes a safer and stronger place for EVERYONE when all communities start having each others backs. Start standing up for each other, but in REAL issues, not issues and agendas made to simply divide us to keep us weaker and easier to control. The liberal mindset, as is, is horrendous to minority communities. When the idea of Voter ID was first proposed and reporters went on campus to ask WHITE students, many claimed it would be racist. Why? Because those in the black community might not have ID, might not know to or where to obtain ID, might not have access to internet. When confronted with that information, people in those communities were amazed by that train of thought, and found it ignorant that anyone would think that. Yet, those are the sort of thoughts liberals have been guilty of for decades. Treating minority communities like children that need to be looked after because they can't look after themselves - and to me THAT is racist.
